Pengertian Recount Text
Recount Text adalah jenis teks dalam bahasa Inggris yang menceritakan kembali kejadian atau pengalaman yang terjadi di masa lampau. Tujuannya adalah untuk memberikan informasi atau hiburan kepada pembaca tentang suatu peristiwa.

Re-orientation (Re-orientasi): Bagian penutup yang berisi kesimpulan atau komentar pribadi penulis tentang kejadian tersebut.
Ciri Kebahasaan Recount Text
Menggunakan Simple Past Tense (misalnya: went, saw, ate).
Menggunakan kata penghubung waktu (temporal conjunction) seperti: then, after that, finally, etc.
Menggunakan kata keterangan waktu, tempat, dan cara (adverbs).
Menggunakan kata kerja tindakan (action verbs).
